What were you doing?

Probably trying to start OnDemand with the arssockd command.

Troubleshooting

Is the database engine up and running?

    db2 start database manager 

Is the database activated?

   db2 activate database archive

Did you run db2ln as root to create the links to the DB2 libraries in the /usr/lib and /lib directories?
