What does CMOD stand for?

CMOD stands for Content Manager OnDemand, IBM's flagship product in the Enterprise Report Management (ERM) segment of Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software market. CMOD has consistently appeared in the upper-right-hand corner of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for archival systems since shortly after it's inception, largely because of it's rock-solid reliability, speed at ingesting data, data compression and de-duplication, and ability to easily scale to multi-petabyte sizes, and serve hundreds of thousands of users per day. IBM CMOD 2020

The year 2020 will be an exciting year for IBM Content Manager OnDemand. CMOD v9.5 reached end of life support on April 30th 2020, and CMOD version 10.5 was announced on March 10th, 2020.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, CMOD Workshops for 2020 have been cancelled, and 2021 are on hold. There will be a number of CMOD Webinars hosted by the OnDemand User Group, as well as free Content Manager OnDemand Training & Education.

Here is a list of error message numbers from CMOD, a description, and helpful advice on how to correct them, most recently added messages are first:

ARS1133I The last row successfully loaded was X

ARS1196E Invalid generic index file format: >GROUP_FIELD_VALUE;1234567890<

ARS1111E The application >< does not exist within the application group >AppGroup<

ARS1129E Row X: The string "20190125" could not be converted to a date from the format of %Y-%m-%d

ARS1315W Warning: The date string "20190125" with date format "%Y%m%d" does not match a specific date.

ARS1109E - Unable to allocate enough memory. File=X, Line=Y

ARS7732E - A parsing error occurred in file <filename> Line X, Column Y

ARS7807E - No objects were found

ARS7795E - ARSXML - The input file contains objects that are specified in the wrong order.

ARS0185E - OnDemand license limit has been exceeded, currently X running only Y are entitled.

ARS0111E - OnDemand is unable to determine the link for the file >/arscache/cache2/12345/ABC/DOC/123FAAA<

ARS0160E - Unable to load module /opt/IBM/ondemand/V9.5/bin/exits/arssmtsm

ARS4305E - Generic Indexer requires the data to have already been indexed. Index the data or verify your input file and resubmit the job.

ARS0238W - The tokenized query string has a nonnumeric value at marker position (2), value (#####). Use a numeric value instead.

ARS1107E - An error occurred. Contact your system administrator and/or consult the System Log.

ADM1822W - The active transaction log is being held by dirty pages. Database performance may be impacted.

ARS1400E - Loading was unable to continue due to encountering a previously failed load of the same name that has yet to be unloaded.

ARS4014E - Unable to load >DB2<

ARS4012E - Unable to initialize environment. rc=158

ARS1407W - Warning: A document with >0< pages and size of >63678662< bytes was processed.

ARS1607E - The OnDemand stash file >< either does not exist or is not valid

ARS1108E - User >user< does not have permission to perform the specified action

ARS0198E - Invalid ownership and/or permissions on cache file/directory

ARS0199E - Unexpected empty directory in cache

ARS0141E - Ran out of load-id naming conventions

ARS1105E - Userid or password is invalid

ARS0384E - LDAP Error: Invalid credentials

ARS4013E - Unable to determine the database engine

ARS0013E - DB Error

ARS0014I - DB Info

ARS0015E - Unable to find SMS tablespace filesystems

ARS0016E - Unable to allocate enough DMS filesystem space for table

ARS0106E - Unlink failed for file

ARS0147E - Unable to initialize server environment

ARS0152E - The command arssockd can only be run by the owner of the command
